We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
As an orthodontic assistant, my responsibilities include putting braces on, as well as taking braces off. All through our patients’ treatment, I adjust wires, put on ties, and explain the proper procedures for the care of their braces to the patient and parents. I also help in making invisible retainers when necessary. My favorite part of my job is seeing how excited the patients are at the end of their treatment when they finally see their new smile. I am married and have two young children. My main interest away from work is to have fun with my family.
Work with Dr. Mayberry to provide information to our new patients in order to create a great orthodontic experience. I am a helpful resource for parents on the specifics of orthodontic treatment from start to finish. I really appreciate knowing that I am an important component of the many phases in our patients’ journey to achieving an amazing smile. The team work aspect of my job is also very rewarding. I live in South Fayette with my husband, stepdaughter, and our yellow Labrador named Irish. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
As an orthodontic assistant, I remove braces, change wires, and fabricate retainers. I am also responsible for obtaining initial and final records and X-rays for all new patients, as well as updates on current patients. My favorite part of my job is observing how much a patient changes as they progress throughout treatment. Overall, I know I am helping individuals achieve beautiful smiles. On a personal note, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and being adventurous, but what I enjoy most is spending quality time with my enormous Greek family.
I am the person who greets each patient when they check in for their appointment and the last one they see when I schedule their next visit. My duties also include meeting with parents to complete paperwork at the start of treatment, making sure claims are filed, and checking that payments are made from insurance carriers. I really enjoy talking and getting to know the children, and best of all, seeing their excitement when their braces are removed. I love all the people I work with; we are all so very different yet find we can be helpful in each other’s lives. I feel very fortunately to have found such a great place to work. My husband and I moved to Pittsburgh six years ago and even though we’ve lived in several cities, we find Pittsburgh to be the friendliest place of all. Our children are all grown up, but we still have Charli, a black cat to keep us company. In my free time, I enjoy reading mysteries and watching “Criminal Minds”.
As the clinic coordinator, I not only assist with our patients’ treatment but oversee the management of the clinic as well. Other responsibilities I have include making sure all supplies are ordered and available at each of our offices, assigning each day’s appointments to the assistants, and anything else that needs to be done. I love seeing the excitement on our patients’ faces once we take off their braces. I really enjoy working with my team; we all get along and work well together. Mayberry Orthodontics is an awesome place to work. I have an awesome family, and I owe a lot to them for all of their support. I also have a boyfriend in the Navy and my best buddy, Sushi, my dog. For fun, I like to walk my dog and play my Nintendo DS.
Business Office Manager
As the business office manager, I wear many hats. I manage patient accounts, billing, and insurance payments; practice statistics, payroll, and accounts payable; and make sure all aspects of our patients’ treatment are financially accessible. In addition, I also answer phones, help with questions, and schedule appointments for our patients. I appreciate the way Dr. Mayberry always puts his patients’ best interest first by being conservative in his treatment plans. He makes be proud to be a member of this office. I am a mom and an avid runner. I have one son and I love to watch his football and hockey games. Other interests I have include gardening, reading, and playing with my bulldog puppies, Dozer and Dottie.
